Do you think they have any clue what they are cheering for? Does it matter? No, as long as they are having fun that is all that matters :)

Happy Birthday Papa
Happy Birthday Papa! The kids LOVE to watch this video of all of us singing Happy Birthday to Papa!
First Baseball Game - Go Storm!
The Martinez cuties first diamond experience :) Well, if you want to be really technical they have been to a youth league baseball game but this was their first experience with the Big Boys :) We went to the Lake Elsinore Storm game with the Martinez cousins to celebrate Addysin's 7th birthday. It was a lot of fun, the first 20 minutes were a little hard for Jace and the last 20 minutes when we were waiting for the fireworks was also a little tough. Solution: We watched the fireworks right outside of the venue - the kids LOVED them, especially Jace.

Brooklyn went back and forth from my seat to the big girls seats.

Kayden, Bailey and Brooklyn - not sure who Bailey is givin' the stink eye too!

What could possibly be more fun and exciting than the baseball game you ask? A huge grass area with a giant hill to run up and down of course!

Brooklyn crawling up the hill - no, I did not approve...grass stains are a nightmare!

A little birthday shout out - My beautiful niece Addysin turned 7 on August 6th.

Addysin with her little crew - she was Miss Popular, all of the girls wanted to sit next to her.

Addysin and most of the kids lined up for a picture!

Yes, my kids were there....but they were too busy for photos!

I cannot believe you are 7 Addy! You have grown so much, but you are still the same little sweetheart. I remember all of your birthdays and have celebrated all 7 with you....I feel honored to be there! Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you very much! XOXO, The Martinez Fam!

OC Fair 2010
We squeezed in a trip to the OC Fair this year, on a Wednesday night after work. Despite the gridlock traffic, it was totally worth it. The kids loved it. Brooklyn is a total die-hard carnival ride lover these days. Jace is still trying to get his feet wet, he made it on one actual ride and he cried after the first loop. But he loved the monster slide so much and just the freedom of walking around. They both loved the animal exhibit and sand exhibit.
Brooklyn loved this ride and smiled the whole time, I think Jace would have liked it but I didn't want to scar him for life just in case he didn't so he had a sideline seat with Mommy.
I love this smile, she is so stinkin' cute sometimes I can barely stand it!

Pretty Brooklyn
Brooklyn is growing up (when did that happen?). She is such a sweet and pretty little girl, maybe a little biased but I definitely think so. She is quite the character these days. I look at her and it is like looking in a mirror, not so much her physical appearance but more so her personality and mannerisms. Of course, I think this is a good thing.

WHOA....
It is so nice to hear Jace begin to express himself with words, his voice is so soft and cute, just as i would have expected. He loves this bin that I bought to put all of the balls in...but really the kids use it for many many other things. So much for getting organized.
