Channeling Rambo

Rambo....I guess kind of.

Learning Responsibility

Brooklyn's new chore is feeding Roxy, I can honestly say she really does enjoy doing it and I never have to ask her more than once to help me feed Roxy. She knows where everything is and in exactly what order to prepare the dish for her highness. I also think Roxy tolerates so many of Brooklyn's antics because....you know how the old saying goes...you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you.

Sum of Soccer Season

Well, this video is a great depiction of Brooklyn's soccer season. The cones used to outline the field were much more attractive than warm up with the other kids. In all fairness, I wasn't able to capture some of the highlights which occurred during week 3 when she made her first goal about halfway into the practice and quickly informed me she made a goal and was ready for shopping and she also started participating in the various skills they were teaching. There was definite growth over the 5 weeks with her listening to her coaches but she was very reserved and was most comfortable safely planted next to my leg or 100 yards away from the practice running around and kicking dirt. I think she had a slight crush on Coach Travis because whenever he called her name she instantly blushed. She will be on the soccer field again but I think we will take the summer off and head back to gymnastics and swimming.

Water girl

Brooklyn is very helpful, she always provides Jace with drinks out of her water bottle...and she takes this job very seriously.

Perfect jump

Brooklyn and Kayden were getting a running start and jumping perfectly through the hole in the ball pit, as you can hear Jace thought this was hysterical. Could his laugh be more adorable? I don't think so either!

I love the hug at the end, so sweet!

It may be time to invest in a two-seater

but something tells me Brooklyn would ride it like this anyway :)

Fun at Papa and Nana's

Swimsuits and swim diapers are overrated!
