Little boy on a BIG slide

Jace's first taste of extreme sports! It took this little guy FOREVER to get up the stairs by himself and I was unsure if he would actually go down but decided the worst that could happen was that his mommy may have to go up and get him BUT that didn't happen, he surprised us all and went down on his own. Such a big little man :)

Way to go Jace, you made us all proud - especially your big sister!!

Scooter Girl!

We got Brooklyn a scooter for her birthday. At first I was unsure how she was going to feel about it since we recently played at a friend's house and she had zero interest in the scooter over there but I still kept with the plan of getting it for her knowing at some point that she would probably like it. I soon found out that my worries were a waste because she LOVED it when she saw it and we were even late to Knotts Berry Farm because she wanted to ride on it.
She never ceases to amaze me with her coordination and her lack of fear. These videos were taken with her having about 10 minutes of scooter riding experience. I would be lying if I said I wasn't cringing while she rode but I was also ecstatic about how happy she was. Good job Brooklyn!

Does Rachel Ray need an assistant?

This is a funny video of Brooklyn being my taste tester. She thinks cupcakes are muffins which I think is hilarious. She takes her job serious and I got the stamp of approval - "um yeah"

Need a boost?

Who needs a high chair these days? Jace has been protesting the high chair, getting him in it is no problem, keeping him there is the real challenge. I think he just wants to sit with big sis at the table so I got him a booster seat so he could join the rest of the fam for meals. He loves it! Pancakes and In Style magazine, breakfast is good!

Seeing Signs

I am not a believer in signs, and don't follow these messages from above to guide me in my decision making. But I do know that in this house when a chair is found somewhere other than pushed in at the table it is usually a sign that something unacceptable happened, is going to happen or is currently happening. This video is evidence of just that. This was recorded the day of the kids birthday party, I was getting things ready in the other room and brought this trash can in from outside to mark as recycling for the birthday party....Brooklyn had other ideas for it.
