Brooklyn is a very curious kid and she always tests boundaries. In addition, she is very resourceful, this bucket was used to boost herself up to get Roxy's water from the counter, what followed was a huge puddle on the floor and two happy kids.....

Happy Birthday Jace Brendan! Two years have flown by and you are now a little man in your own right. You are like a quadruple threat guy - sweet, cute, funny, loveable! A mother could not ask for more. The last year you have learned so many things, you make us all very proud.

Jace is much more relaxed than Brooklyn, he is patient and an observer. Of course these things may change as he continues to discover himself. Nonetheless, he is an amazing little boy with a tenderheart and gentle disposition.

We celebrated Jace's birthday with family by having lunch and then heading over to Tom's Farms for a train and carousel ride. He would have been easily satisfied just walking around the whole day. He is definitely not one to stand still these days. In the evening Irene and Adam came over for cupcakes, this made the kids very happy.

Welcome back Sun, we missed you!!!

There are many things to love about southern California - especially 80 degree weather in February! Makes you want to fall in love with a margarita poolside. But rather than do that, we headed to the park and enjoyed the sun and great company of Meghan, Bailey and Addysin.

My Cookie Valentine

Happy Valentines Day! Brooklyn and I made cookies for the day of love. She made two giant cookies from her and Jace for her daddy. I let her cut the cookie dough and sprinkle the frosting, she loved it. She kept telling me "I help mama" - and she was a great help, really. We passed out cookies to Irene and all of her cousins that are local.

I want to sleep this soundly! I know, this may appear as another boring picture of little kids sleeping, but I love pictures of them sleeping. I look back at my thousands of pictures of these little cherubs and I have so many of them getting some shut-eye. I think I am fascinated by how peaceful and sweet they look, part of me is envious that they can sleep that soundly. I am thankful I can provide them an environment where they have no worries to keep them up at night. May you always sleep this soundly and be this peaceful little babies.
