It's a Dora kind of Christmas
Dora, Dora, Dora....can you spot Dora in the picture....click..there she is :) As Dora would say! Brooklyn has a new little Christmas friend. Turns out Santa dressed as Santa is not good but Dora dressed as Santa is perfectly acceptable.

"Mommy go sleep" Game
The way she tiptoes is hilarious. She is really into the pretending to be asleep, when I drive her somewhere and open the door to get her out she snores and says "Shh, Brooklyn sleep" - it is really funny (and cute!).

A World In Color
It has been so interesting to see Brooklyn learn her colors, to see which one she favors (YELLOW), how she can determine the difference between two colors that look similar and seeing her begin to understand that there are different objects that are the same color and same objects that are different color. Car rides are more eventful now because I hear "Hi Red" and I try to figure out what she is talking about, is it the car next to us, or the stop sign, perhaps a billboard. She is really enjoying learning her colors, it is so much more beautiful to have a life in color.
Brooklyn - you are learning so much every day, it is hard to keep up. I know when I tell you to bring me your pink shoes and you go into the playroom and manage to return with the correct shoes it appears that I overreact with joy. But really I am genuinely THAT proud of you. Seeing you learn new things and how excited you get when you accomplish something is so amazing to your parents so please excuse us if we appear to be overreacting...
A little video of our artist learning her colors.
