Turning 1 really is FUN!

A day in the life of turning one....Jace turned one on February 20th and he had a great day. Despite some leftover chix pox he still had a great time! And, Brooklyn had fun celebrating with her baby brother.

David and I took the kids to see our friend Ann who owns a Thai restaurant in Irvine. Jace will eat anything anywhere - much different than Brooklyn who sticks to a very strict diet.

We sang Happy Birthday to Brooklyn to get her warmed up for next month, she liked the singing but didn't like the cupcake - big surprise!

Attack of the Pox

Jace got the Pox. Poor kid! He has been miserable despite how happy he looks in his oatmeal bath, he has been very unhappy. The pictures really don't do it justice, he has a bad case and they are EVERYWHERE on his upper body, back, head, ear, eyes...and even in places that are just WRONG! AWWWWW!! And if having chicken pox wasn't enough he also is cutting his top 2 front teeth, I know perfect timing!! You may have to click on the picture to enlarge them to see more clearly. Regardless, he is still a cutie (I am biased, I know).

And, no my legs are not starting to resemble my sisters!

Little Man

Jace is pulling himself up and standing holding anything - he was so excited to play with this tree and leaf. He looks like such a big kid with his plaid shirt and shoes. He is still as sweet as ever :)
