Handsome Jace!

Our baby Brooklyn is 1!

We had a "Friday is always good, but this Good Friday is even better" birthday party for Brooklyn on Friday, March 21st, her actual bday fell on Good Friday. We had a little family party for her at our house and it was a lot of fun. Brooklyn was a true Diva that day, one minute she was having a great time and the next minute she had more demands to make her happy.

Off to get her 1 year shots, she looks a little happy for what is coming :)

Birthday Breakfast!

All the toys and family in the house but the kids would rather climb on the dirty basketball hoop on the side of the yard, what a surprise!




The Birthday Girl enjoyed having everyone sing to her, we only gave her a cupcake rather than her own big cake (mean Mommy) and as you can see she could have cared less about the cake, her Uncle Ruben must have gotten to her first and told her how many calories cake has!

Froggy Fun!

Brooklyn's Auntie Rachel got her the cutest Froggy pool for her birthday. David blew it up and Brooklyn celebrated Easter in her little pool, the water was pretty cold but that didn't stop her, she had a lot of fun and it was cute to watch her play in it, we have a little water baby on our hands! Time to start swimming lessons!

Egg Hunt in Corona

We took the cousins to an egg hunt in Corona, the kids didn't get any eggs but it was still good atmosphere.

Easter Fun!

Easter was a lot of fun this year with Brooklyn, we couldn't go anywhere since we have the little guy but we still had a great day letting Brooklyn play in her little frog pool outside. Jace even made an appearance outside but he is still a little too young for the pool, maybe next year :)

Happy 1 Month to Jace

Our little patient #5354 is growing like crazy since being home. He is now almost 7 lbs and has gained 2 pounds in one month. This little guy knows how to party!

Both kids celebrated their FIRST St. Patty's Day...yes, I said BOTH and FIRST...hey, they are Irish twins after all so we have a reason to celebrate!

A new toy for Brooklyn!

Well....inquiring minds have wanted to know how Brooklyn feels about the baby, up until yesterday she had no interest in him. That is, UNTIL I put him in the baby papasan chair, she would not leave him alone. First she kept taking his pacifier out and then she kept trying to climb in the chair with him. Needless to say, I had to take Jace out of the chair and put him out of Brooklyn's reach!

"No, no, no, don't touch the baby" - this is another joke at our house, Brooklyn just laughs.

Bath Time!! It appears Jace is not too keen on tub time, unlike is big sis. We have a feeling he will come around as he gets bigger.

What a difference 11 months can make?

Baby Love

Just a few more pictures of our little champ. It is amazing how much cuter he is without the feeding tube he had in the NICU. The first time I saw him without it was actually when he was almost two weeks old, it was so precious to see his face.

Can you believe how small he is in the carseat??? I had to take him to see his pediatrician today, the girls in there ate him up because he is the tiniest thing. What a difference, they are all over Brooklyn because how big she is and Jace gets the same attention for how small he is :)

Welcome to Pinewood Jace!

Our family came over on Sunday to welcome Jace home, we had a great time hanging out and letting Brooklyn play with her cousins, the girls are great. I wonder what will happen a year from now when Jace is walking around and he is the only boy....I can only imagine!

Below is the first night home from the hospital....both babies slept downstairs with Mommy while I adjusted to getting up every 3 hours for Jace's feeds. The kids were able to sleep through each others cries - YAY!
